“Sitting with uncomfortability” invites each of us to take a moment to sit with our uncomfortable emotions and feelings, to find our way through difficult times through practices grounded in Buddha dharma. We will explore practices that have been useful for people – perhaps interested curiosity, or forgiveness practices, perhaps Metta practice, or using compassion with uncomfortable people, or remembering impermanence, or perhaps a calm walk in nature. Let’s take some time to learn from each other. Practice Circles give us a safe container to speak and listen with our whole presence, to practice mindfulness while communicating and receiving. Following meditation and a brief period of mindful movement, we will divide up into groups to explore the topic of the day. Everyone will have a chance to speak and listen from the heart. Choosing silence is honored also. All are welcome.
