Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation Retreat
Meets in Meditation Hall.
Please join Michele Mira to learn to unwind and learn to manage stress in easier and more meaningful ways. We will be spending time on Mindfulness, to learn to work with the emotional chaos and reduce the stress of ordinary life. And we will spend time with Meditation practices that help support Mindfulness in our everyday lives. Learn to use self-compassion in regular and generous ways. Learn the nurturing qualities of Tara Brach’s RAIN practice. And learn ways to deal with emotional stress that are safe and easy. Her goal is to help you learn personal practices that help you develop inner quiet and peace of mind.
Logistics: This is a three-week class series, followed by a half-day retreat. Classes will be held at the Sacramento Dharma Center, under the auspices of SBMG. Suggested donation for the series is $35. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
